Emmanuel Alcantar is an advocate whose previous work has included political campaigns and increasing awareness of what local elected officials and state legislators can be doing in response to climate change and climate resiliency. He is interested in using those skills to better his community for students, educators, and community members. He is a longtime resident of South Los Angeles — born in Torreón, Mexico.
