Youth and Education Committee

This committee has the responsibility for addressing the issues, concerns, programs and services
related to the education of children, youth and adults and developing specific strategies and
policies for influencing and achieving constructive outcomes within schools, classrooms, and
other education/learning centers that serve the Voices community. Additionally, this committee
has the general responsibility to discuss issues, foster collaboration on projects, and brainstorm
ideas to encourage greater community involvement/support and participation.

Agenda Requests

The Youth and Education Committee conducts its business by reviewing and prioritizing agenda requests for Board action (generally either in the form of a motion or letter) or announcements submitted by stakeholders, governmental entities and other interested individuals and organizations. Youth and Education Committee Committee has the discretion to postpone a request, refer it to a specific committee for review and recommendation, treat it as an announcement or consider and resolve it as a non-Board administrative matter.
